Frederick County Safe Babies Court Team
The Frederick County Safe Babies Court Team (FCSBCT) is a program of ZERO TO THREE which brings together the Frederick County Department of Social Services, Frederick County Judicial System and family/child serving agencies to provide specialized support for families with children from birth to three years of age under the Court’s jurisdiction in foster care, kinship care or at-risk of removal. This evidence-based, trauma informed, two-generational approach works with the system of care in Frederick by strengthening support and services that babies and families need to ensure healthy development and lasting permanency. Using the SBCT Core Components, the goal of advancing the health and well-being of very young children and their families is accomplished through interdisciplinary, collaborative, and proactive teamwork.
