Trauma Responsive Frederick is a 501c3 non-profit that began as a volunteer group made up of community leaders and advocates who strive to make Frederick County, MD, a Trauma Responsive Community during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
The initial Workgroup was formed in April 2020 to address the behavioral health needs of the residents of Frederick County, MD, during the challenging time of COVID-19. Our volunteers work in all sectors, including City and County government, healthcare, small business, local funders, and many social service agencies in the County. These volunteers are committed to the health and well-being of our community. The collaborative was given formal 501c3 status in November 2023.
